This website was developed for one purpose: To use Skills Assessments in addition to resumes to help identify the proper candidate to fill a job opening.
Forensic IT, Inc. was established in 2003 and specialized in debugging and troubleshooting. We follow a structured troubleshooting approach that always guarantees success.
It was through our own efforts to recruit talent that understood the topics they professed on their resumes that the idea of this website was conceived. We found that just reading a resume was not enough. Too much time was spend on needless phone interviews and in-person interviews that did not produce a viable candidate. For instance, a person might say they were an experienced Oracle DBA only to review in the interview that they were DBA of only one site, only doing it for a few months, and they were the junior DBA in their entire group. We would call this person a beginner.
We decided to put together skills assessments that we would ask candidates to take prior to applying so we could "weed-out" those that did not qualify. Of course, an interview is still necessary, bet we are more comfortable with the candidates technical abilities going into the interview.
